I was also born in the late ‘80s, that’s why I had to clarify that I watched it in reruns rather than first-run.

For the record: I do NOT believe that everyone who’s right-wing is a Nazi. Some of my best friends are right-wing, and they’ve basically said that these assholes do NOT speak for them.

I honestly didn’t lose sleep when Trump won. I always found Hillary to be a bigger piece of shit than Trump. Now don’t twist this to say i’m a Trump supporter. I don’t like him either.

Both Trump and Hillary are bad, but Trump so far has not IMO done a lot to help.

I had an idea last night….  
Have a third house or Senate and give equal seating to all non-extremist ideologies. Then have them debate and talk out things they are concerned about in a civil manner. Also have guards or police there to take out troublemakers if they get rowdy. This way everyone has an equal voice.  
Also they can draw up laws if they have more than 85% agreement between the factions.

That does sound effective, perhaps these representatives of these ideologies take an ideology test to see where they stand and if they can enter or not.

Trump is right. Both sides are to blame, but as usual the left is mostly sticking their fingers in their ears. Both sides showed up looking for a fight here (unlike Berkeley).  
Antifa members have called for violence against conservatives and cops (and I think even veterans), and their actions at these events indicate they’re willing to escalate them. So while it might not be on the level as the last civil war, I think we’re going to see something happen.

At worst it’ll just be more riots. Obviously we won’t see a civil war on the level of the American Civil War, if there is a civil war in this country it’ll probably be like the one in Ukraine but even then the possibility of that happening is low since like I said before, there are no political or military leaders forming a faction with military power that’s antagonistic to the US.
 
Besides, our country has seen this kind of unrest before with the race riots that happened in the 60s
