Man, that Zelda comment really put things into perspective for me as a Zelda fanboy. Link is actually best portrayed when he ISN’T just a figure for the player to project onto. WindWaker’s Link is legitimately the best because he has a personality. As the years go on, Zelda’s writers seem more focused on pleasing the fans than giving the game a decent story. Heck, they decided that in the game where you can’t rename Link and where the story was practically begging for him to be an actual person, to make him more of a blank slate than normal, almost completely because the fans would get mad if they did that. Even Aonuma’s reasoning for why we can’t choose Link’s gender seemed more like he was quoting a comment on Reddit than an actual opinion he held. Really goes to show how fandoms should really just let the creators make their creations without begging and threatening them to make sure it goes 100% the way they think it should go.

That’s always been the big problem with Zelda fans: They think the lore is this critically important thing (Don’t get me started on that stupid Timeline obsession, holy shit) when it’s always been half-assed at best.
That’s the case with any game really. If you’re a die-hard fan of something and you think a certain aspect of it’s lore is super important, there’s a 99% chance that you’re full of shit.

Try saying to any fnaf fan that lore isn’t important. I dare you. Fucking try it and see if you could survive. These people have been driven mad by decoding the lore, and if I were you i would not put that madness towards a person’s direction.
 
Hell, i know story isn’t important but there’s a reason people will point out ambiguously placed sequels/prequels.

yeah I had saw the person who replied to it on Kiwi Farms and of course Peet wouldn’t care about it because it is
 
a game she can easily play and any Kingdom Heart fan can tell you how hard it is to get into the story of Kingdom
 
Heart because for a while the side stories where getting put on Nintendo handhelds and the prequel was put on the
 
PSP not to mention it was just recently when Kingdom Hearts was made available on one system via the PS4
 
releases. My goodness if she ever does a Glass of Water on video games it will end up being even more of her
 
downfall

You know, the more i think of it the more apt it is i brought up fnaf. While people have differing opinions on the games, i think we can all agree one that one of the draws of the series is the lore, something peet dismisses as unimportant and anyone trying to decode it is “99% chance that you’re full of shit.”
 
The one of the other draws is that it is hard. I think the easiest game in the series is the third installment and even then that’s mostly due to having only one animatronic that can kill you. Peet seems to be the guy who will set the game to the lowest possible difficulty just to bulldoze through everything.
 
Considering the series explosive popularity and overall influence (emil’s project opia, tattletail, boogeyman 1 and 2, The think the guy who made the dayshift at freddy’s game is making a proper debut, hell i think the guy who made the return to freddy’s series is going to make some crash bandicoot-inspired platformer), along with a few things that would I would imagine will piss Lil’ Peet off, i’m surprised he didn’t at least mention it in his videos.

sorry to repeat my self but I really am going to be amused if Peet ever does a glass of water on video games. I
 
will be even more amused if she ever does a Glass of Water on anime. Mostly because those two things will get her
 
a lot of hate seeing as she is very bad at being level headed and also has a bad habit of generalizing everyone.

Ink Rose was who I had in mind when I was talking about the obsession with lore and headcanons in both MLP and Zelda.
 
at least Ink Rose knows how iconic items work. What I am talking about is sometime after Peet played Wind Waker
 
HD she asked why on earth the Master Sword wasn’t a cutlass in the game. Because you know why would people want
 
iconic things when we can please Peet the woman who is easily triggered by Bayonetta.

to be honest the meltdown had been happening since the Orlando Gay Bar shooting happened last year which was also
 
the year Josh stopped being friends with Lily Peet. If Peet’s soulmate Lizzy ever leaves her then who knows how
 
much more sanity Peet will lose. If she even has any left.
