I wasn’t even that old yet. I wasn’t married nor did I have some kind of great job. I kept my promise of taking care of my parents and they stayed with me.
Then suddenly, dream mom came into my room, hugged me tightly and died. Just like that. No final words, no goodbyes. It was like she was expecting it. And my dad was there too. He cried but he didn’t try to comfort me. It was like he expected it too.
It felt like the whole world knew she was going to die, and didn’t tell me. I heard her heartbeat disappear.
It was short, didn’t last even 2 minutes in the dream. But I don’t think I can ever forget it.
