Also, what the hell happened to that Ret Pally Heroic leap? Was it just scrapped? That sounded cool.

I steamrolled it with 880 gear.

I soloed it (with some difficulty) when I first hit 110. But, like an idiot, I sold the damn tokens because I didn’t know if I liked the way the tier looked.

You probably could have traded them for the set pieces and then if you didn’t like them, vendored them for a higher price than the tokens.

That’s what I normally do. But I was really only there for the mount, and just mindlessly vendored everything for gold.

Glad Blizzard made it so you only need to use the tokens in WoD instead of trading them in.

Incidentally, I was doing Molten Core to try and get that old tier set (and the Burning sword that sells for 100k plus in the AH).
 
I forgot how annoying it was to get your gear back in the day. Had an entire run only drop the Pally and mage tiers.

Smaller servers tend to have higher prices on rare items, since less people are farming them. I’ve seen that thing sell for almost 200k on Whisperwind.
 
Which is great for me if I can get one. Get some sweet cash.

Ion pointed out that spec identity has eclipsed class identity too much (example used was how a fire mage would never ever cast a single frost spell and only a few arcane spells)
 
Really the biggest example is Warlocks and how a Destro lock will never use a DoT that isn’t immolate and how Affliction never uses fire spells (big deal w/ Green Fire being a thing)
 
Very glad this was made apparent as it was a gripe I had and I recall being echoed on the Warlock Community as a whole

That was one thing that really annoyed me about having some weird replacement for Frostfire bolt. I liked the combo magic of it. Its like when Khadgar blew up the dam in the invasion of draenor.
 
Whenever we get another class, if we get another one, I really want it to be one that uses ranged weapons, because the fact that less than one class now uses them is getting a little ridiculous. As difficult as it might be to make a ranged physical DPS class (that ideally should also wear mail because right now we’re at 3/4/2/3 for armor types) NOT feel like another hunter. And ideally I’d also want them to be able to heal. And DEFINITELY not be able to tank. No mas.

How about a magic/ranged combo? Casts limited ranged spells, and has access to bows/guns/crossbows.
 
 
Also, I killed that fucker in Blackrock Depths about 8 times and have yet to get his eyepatch. I need it to complete my pirate demon hunter.

The dude in the grim guzzler drops one. The Hogger one is ok, but the one from BRD is better.

Think I might solo Blackrock Foundry again today. I need those paladin shoulders.

I solo’d Terrace for the hell of it while flying to pandaria to buy fireworks for the Reeves module.
