That’s a whole lot of headcanon there, friend. I remember a certain sea serpent being present at a wedding. He wasn’t treated any worse than the ponies.

I had the same train off thought, thinking to myself :yeah….you ponies are racist inconsiderate assholes, never showed love for another, the only pony I have seen in the entire show and most fan made comics that actually harbors equal feelings if not greater feeling for something other then a pony, is Fluttershy, every other non-pony is treated like a second class citizen wether they are sentient or not, the bird, the minatory, the goats, the donkey, Celestia’s life companion the phoenix, every animal ever encountered, the manticore, the timber wolves, the sea serpent, discord, that guy from tarturas, his brother, rainbow dash’s pet, spike, the older dragons, every zebra considering the entire populaces reaction to Zecora alone, even dead ponies are more important to ponies then other living creatures in need of help, the changelings, their queen, Gilda, even by rainbow dash which was her best friend for many years while growing up, someone she know and grew attached to longer then any other pony including Fluttershy, rockadiles, bats, cows, birds, even the land itself is pushed aside for ponies for even the smallest things

Ouch… that hurts, specially if you take a moment to look at it and understand then why Spike could be actually a real treat.
 
But here he is giving his best to help other ponies that probably (like Pinkie and the others) were barely his friends.

The truth is that she and Spike were never friends. The mane six took off for the future without him with plans to only heal Twilight’s loneliness rather than Twilight and Spike’s loneliness. Furthermore, in the pilot episode, she threw her Welcome to Ponyville party “just for Twilight” under the assumption that she “didn’t have any friends”.

Spike: “Of course Pinkie, I’m sorry we were friends and all but once you are gone for a thousand years that happens to anypony, you start looking for a global greater good rather than mixing your feelings as they might cost many more lives.
 
I mean is harder for me you know? She is like my mother who went insane!”
