Oh and one more thing that I realized after reading the tags, Friendship Games takes place during the season finale!  
Okay that really is not anything new, and actually kind of is slowpokish, especially in a 17 day old image post.  
But! As soon we get to the finale I’m going to think back to Friendship Games, especially if the end of episode 26 ends with Twilight Sparkle noticing her magic pager journal buzzing over msgs from Sunset Shimmer “oh no, better check on my friends in human land!”

Okay so I’m bored at work, wishing I was at home playing Fallout 4, and take a break to check Derpibooru from my phone, check out this image and it’s comics and read what tps48 wrote…  
Time travel has a lot of potential for some really cool and trippy stories!  
Like just what is the limit to Discord powers, would he be effected by time traveling shenanigans? Or would he actually be fully aware and uneffected by Starlight Glimmer altering the time line? And could he actually be offended by her plans to create a perfect utopia of perfectly equal ponies with no special talents? I don’t think he would like that perfectly happy boring world…  
And just what would happen with a time line altering event when ponies are in a parallel universe like human land? Could things reshape over there too? Considering how magic keeps spilling over to their world?  
Arg! So many things to consider! Endless possibilities!

I believe that the main baddies in the upcoming alternate timeline will form a union with each other.
 
If it is true on getting rid of the mane 6’s cutie marks from the events of what just happened, then Discord might revert to himself back to his old ways. Still, it could be bothersome. Because the minor villains or jerks might do something worse than what has been shown from the previous seasons in the dark future.
 
Like the Diamond Dogs using Rarity for more than long, the Film Flam Brothers kicked out the Apple Family, and (posssibly) Daring Do losing against Ahuizotl. With him gaining full control over Tenochtitlan. After all, she was helped by RD if it was not for her. And Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon alter their personalities with both of them not being redeemed after Crusaders of the Lost Mark.

If she appears in the altered timeline, then disappears after time is restored, that’d be fine. Not just because it’d prevent any paradoxes.
 
If this is the case, it’d be cool if she did something like Mr. Sir Henry Motherfucker or a Dragoon from Final Fantasy… Or Captain Falcon. X3
 
Now that I think of it, I’m imagining E26 will mirror E13, as per the overall theme of Season 5’s being friends with everypony ever, in which Starlight must fend off a counterattack from the entire country. XD
 
Maybe. The Tantibus was confined to Ponyville, but nopony yet knows how far Starlight’s reach will go. :j

Confirmed by Hasbro to be canon. The comics are also canon unless an event within the cartoon directly states or implies that a particular event, story, character, etc… within the comic could not have existed.
