Welcome. And yeah, that’s an easy mistake to make - show ponies have very short bodies compared to what you’d realistically expect :p
Yeah, the downvotes don’t really bother me. It was just “Huh, this one getting downvotes. I wonder way?” And then @Background Pony #11CC said what they did and I went “Oh, that could be it.”
And thanks for the critique, another friend of mine said the same thing about the proportions of the body. It’s an older drawing I did about a year to a year and a half ago. I just recently posted to Miiverse and here to see what people might think about it.

Bit of advice on proportions might be to shorten her body a little and analyze the colors again. Other than that, though, you got it down pretty well.
Kinda funny/cute to see her just poking at it in an analytic kind of way, though, lol.
