I didn’t really like this episode. But the important thing is… DISCORD IS FINALLY FRIENDS WITH EVERYONE!!
And these another rub, an episode seeing Discord become better friends with the Mane 5 would have been a more directly entertaining use of the episode.
Overall, it felt like the story could have been done in half the time it took. Like the show was intentionally dragging as to replicate that “I don’t get it” feeling of isolation Twi was going through.
One thing I’m still wondering, though, is if Discord really did set things up to keep Twilight’s friends from inviting her to their events? If so, was it really worth the lesson? That seemed to be implied toward the end.

Agreed, I knew they’d turn it around though, but yeah I did feel really bad for Twilight throughout it, and seeing her tear up before the end just hurt.
I thought this episode was pretty good. Much better than this writer’s first try with Princess Spike. I don’t think it will go down as one of my favorites but it will be one that I will have no issue re-watching at some point.
D’awww, I love how this episode ended~ It really warms my heart seeing how far Discord’s come from being a villain to being one of the mane six’s best friends.
Agree.
Thanks!
I give it a B-/8.8 .
Seems legit
Yep.
If so, that’s the definition of overkill.

So much awkwardness!
It made me feel really bad for Twilight a lot of the way through, but how it all turned out in the end was pretty brilliant I thought.
