Loving this image. I’ll admit that the book sizes’ inconsistency threw me for a bit of a loop, but we both know that wasn’t the focus you were making with this one.
 
It’s that gorgeous lighting job.
 
The darkness from below not only plays a part as the area the light fails to reach, but also the foundation of her intentions. If one were to pan up, the increase in light almost seem to mirror the ideas in her mind, everything clicking into place for her as her plans are ready to come to fruition. I should note that the lighting of her thighs, a prominent focus here, does excellent work for showing off her skin tone, with regards to the light reflecting off of it. The thighs and her thigh-highs are made to look beautiful in your choice of lighting; perfect in form, just as good in what else it could mean when it comes to how she plays off the mood made with the lighting and detail provided to everything around her.
 
Her hair flows down, though beautiful, ending on a sharp note (much like her, the thorny rose she is). The lone strand of hair, is that little detail; that “something that’s off” that fits so well with how you’ve taken her character with just a few images. Her posture is professional, from the hand on her hip with her arm behind (almost like she’s ready to gun down her target; time for her to get to work. Heh…), to the hand on her fa-
