@CobaltTheMadMage: A slime pony could also be one that originally wasn’t a slime in the first place, getting the slime body in some way at some point in his/her life. Like Shiny the Slime, for example.

Given FIM’s track record with fantasy monsters, it probably wouldn’t be a stretch to have your typical D&D “ooze” as a creature, then just have one trying to mimic ponies in an effort to fit in/earn their trust.

I’ve always had a bit of a on-the-fence feeling about Goo Ponies being OCs, or existing at all for that matter. More or less, they’re never properly explain as to HOW they came to be, or even how they work internally. The only one that came close to a reasonable explanation was that they’re made of dark matter, which made me laugh a bit.

Cute OC though.
