She didn’t relinquish the apple, you just took it. There was no deal made, no verbal acknowledgement, no VISUAL acknowledgement. A one-sided trade is not a trade, it is simply one-sided. You, an individual, performed an exchange with somepony who is of sound mind, and capable of performing the exchange with you as a result. However, you failed to acknowledge her permission in the matter, and simply chose to make an exchange!
