Ah right. XD I’ve just heard bad about her and when you said I’m sounding like her, I thought I was a bad person.
I said most not all, the ones in this area are extremely violent and hateful and I see it all the time on the news of crazy evangelicals fortunately they seem to be dying down I don’t here about them as much as I used to.
I’m not some uninformed bystander I live in a VERY conservative community where you are expected to be of highly religious faith to be otherwise is to be a minion of Satan I’ve read the bible many times as well as the qu’ran and the poetic edda-Havamal and after having read the bible so much it’s full of hypocrisy and bullshit (though the bits about jesus are pretty good which is funny because a lot of his teachings go against the bible itself) but people pick and choose what parts of the bible they want to believe and follow and ignore all the stuff they don’t like I cast it off completely when I was young after having read it.
I’m not violent or hateful… Nor are most “religious” people I know.
No I mean all he’s ever done is kill an entire family and leave a man on the verge of death by horrible sickness over a bet and didn’t even help the guy when it was over turned a woman to salt for looking at her home one last time leaving a father to raise children alone in the desert FLOODED THE ENTIRE WORLD KILLING ALMOST EVERY LIVING CREATURE ON THE PLANET and burned entire cities for not worshipping him, he intervenes plenty when he wants but not when it’s needed I’ve read the bible god is no better than has his enemy Satan it’s no wonder most religious people are violent and hateful they follow his lead.
Not necessarily, God doesn’t interferer or orchestrate everything in the universe like some SIMS game. Like I said He gives people in general free-will. There are times in the Bible where it shows He gives people free-will to actually. Just ‘cause he interferes with some events, or create miracles doesn’t mean he does this with everything.
God didn’t force Adam & Eve to eat the forbidden fruit. He didn’t force the Romans to feed people to lions, and such. Nor does he force some criminal on the street to stab/shoot somebody.
Heck, I don’t even blame God for my Dad dying earlier this year…
I find it ridiculous to blame God for everything bad regardless if you believe in Him, or not.
Read the bible he does it on purpose he revels in it there’s a reason he’s described as a petulant child in the bible god is one messed up douche.
I don’t blame God for some people being A-holes, or killing each other. A lot of people use that as an excuse to prove “there is no God,” but sense I believe in God, I never really understood that logic frankly.
The reason, I believe is simple. He gives people freedom, and free-will.
Some people abuse said freedom, much like those who abuse laws, and such.
Still, I’m kinda an optimist, and I believe there is also love in the world too, not just hate. As long as there is that, there is hope for humanity. There are bad people, but there are good people too. Always remember that.

The reason I said that is because P.T. tends to demonize religion & prayer, and basically said before “Prayer does no good” during when she got bent, and was ranting over Bronycon using the term “prayer” in a harmless manner. >>300879
(I’m sorry to bring up old drama, but from the way P.T. acts, she’s basically the Atheist-equivalent of a “religious-fanatic.” Many people, especially atheists felt she overreacted, and was acting irrational during said drama.)
I recall, after giving a half-assed apology she then proceeded to brag about donating to charity, and stating that “does more then prayer.” Regardless if you agree with that, or not, it came off rather egotistical, and like “I’m sorry, but not sorry” basically.
It doesn’t matter how much you donate to charity, if you act rude, people are going to call you out on it.
Or a fourth option, God is good, but due to the scope of his existence, his actions are impossible for us to understand.

Two options: either there is a god and he doesn’t care about humans.
There is no God and we can only blame ourselves for these atrocities.
Well there is the third option, there is a god and he’s a monster who enjoys seeing us suffer, but that’s a little depressing.
But what I was trying to say is; if there is a God, why do these things happen?
It’s a touchy subject, and I knew people would take it wrongly.

I’m guessing you are either a child that can’t comprehend the ramification of what happened or you have serious mental issues that deprive you of normal empathy and social skills. So I can’t really blame for for saying stupid things.
