With the backing of Sega Toys, Japan will still air the rest of the FIM episodes in their beautiful language from The Crystal Empire pt 1 to Do Princesses Dream of Magic Sheep?, as it is SOP for Japan to broadcast 52 episodes of certain foreign shows at a time.

Some of the episodes may not be aired in order of the North American broadcast.

Considering that Japan picked up Equestria Girls after they realized it was turning into something with both popularity AND with potential that S3 and S4 lacked, that isn’t that farfetched.

Not to beat a dead horse, but from their actions, it seems quite apparent Japan weren’t interested in the princess scenario S3 presented. They’ve dubbed a lot more obscure shows for less profitable reasons, but they pulled Tomodachi wa Mahou after S2 anyway.

Have Saki Nakagawa (author of SnK Chuugakkou parody manga) rewrite Equestria Girls or write an animated feature based on the EqGirls Minis toys, and we can enjoy all the slice-of-life stuff that the EqGirls films still lack.
