There was enough fan fiction material in these two episodes to fill an entire SEASON! Where to start?
 
Seriously. A single bad timeline out of many alternate timelines gave us an army of (presumably) mind controlled slave soldiers…  
 
… grim, determined soldier Dash with crazy hair and a prosthetic mechanical wing…  
 
… and Princess Celestia herself in command on the battlefield.  
 
If the fans can’t do something with all that, I will be shocked.

I freaking loved that part. I was almost expecting a sort of Game of Thrones type of deal with all the villains in one timeline fighting for dominance, but this works.

Now this was scary, the implications here are near limitless. Sure you can see it as using farmers as soldiers but if you lose one battle to him then all the troops that were captured will have the same fate. It’s a battle where you slowly lose.
