I think touching the hair would get the toucher broken bones. Or strapped to a rocket. Seriously, unless we’re going with a depiction in which it grows back super fast (and it well might, not sure why formerly-aquatic lifeforms would keep so much hair otherwise), she probably likes her hair a lot. Heck, see this very image for that example. ^^;

Nice idea! I would like to see Aria in a christmas outfit as there aren’t many pictures around with her in one.

May as well say here. When I drew that ‘Aria sat on bike’ picture, I drew Aria first, then drew the bike separate. Then drew Aria sat on it. So I’ve a half-finished pic of Aria floating around. Thinking of doing a Santa’s helper outfit on her (red dress with white fluffy trim, short skirt probably, and long boots.
 
Completely out-of-character but who cares? Could have that up later tonight if I don’t have to work too late.

I’d also wonder why someone else’d be there. It’d be in an apartment the Dazzlings were living in. Adagio would have just woken up, to find Sonata had trimmed up her hair whilst she was asleep.

Actually, I think that last part might make for a nice, touchy Christmas-y scene, Adagio giggling too as she more or less accepts her role as a walking beacon of Holiday Cheer, the trio hugging while one of the Rainbooms (Sunset?) watches them from somewhere nearby, looking all teary-eyed at the magic of friendship at work.
 
…Then someone comes along and asks what she’s doing there, gets asked the same question, and both scatter?  
_{I’m probably overthinking this, so I’ll just wait for whatever you come up with. :D}

I figure the key to these things being funny is that the tone of the thing stays light-hearted, which is easier as long as nobody catches fire or really gets hurt, or seems to be actually suffering abuse rather than the occasional silly shenanigans.

Maybe a bit too tame. Got plenty to be drawing at the moment whilst I think of something. I’ll need to get that comic done well before Christmas anyway.
 
Want to keep the tone light for this comic, so making it obvious she’s after payback will detract from that.

I quite agree with the retribution, as that’s half the reason Adagibuse bugs me. There’s no way the cunning, conniving mastermind would just completely let her harassers off without some kind of revenge, so seeing it done that way confuses me. :s
 
If you’re taking ideas, I’ll take a shot at it! As it’s a holiday-themed thing, maybe Adagio would get her back by scaring the bejeezus out of Sonata by throwing small, harmless firecrackers at her feet? The ones that sound a bit like gunfire?
 
My first thought was strapping her to a rocket and letting her be the one to go up in pretty lights, but blowing her up is way too harsh. :(

Well, I doubt Adagio would let the other two off for such a practical joke, but an idea for retribution may be handy. Say a new year’s party short perhaps where she gets payback on Sonata?

See, this is what I meant in the other comic page; people default to making Adagio the butt of the joke pretty much every time, her tormentors typically getting off scot-free. (Nice to see that wasn’t the case here, by the way!) I’m not about to tell you you can’t have her be a living Xmas tree, but I know I won’t be laughing.

That might actually be pretty interesting! If anyone could use some Christmas cheer, it’s our poor, pouty, purple sourpuss. Whether or not Sonata and Adagio will actually be able to lift her spirits or just (accidentally?) tick her off until she chases them around with a broom, I have no idea.

You know, the idea of Sonata decorating Adagio’s hair reminded me of this fanfiction that I read some weeks ago. It involves Adagio waking up with Christmas decorations in her hair. Of course, Sonata was responsible for all this. And Adagio was mad. Like, very very VERY mad: she reduced Sonata to tears. Then, Aria kinda calms Adagio down in a private conversation outside… I forgot what happens after that.
 
What if during Christmas time, Sonata tries to make the pretty and naturally-grumpy Aria Blaze smile? What if Adagio joins in to try to lift Aria’s spirits with her own “fun”.

I don’t have any ideas so do whatever you like, I may not even end up doing one, just a christmas picture. That’s an interesting idea, if the Crystal Prep girls cameo I would choose Sour Sweet and Sunny Flare, Sunset probably wouldn’t be coming over to wish the Dazzlings a merry Christmas, though XD.

I’m intending to do that short comic I suggested with Sonata having put Christmas decorations in Adagio’s hair, but I’ll have to see what you’ve got planned for your own project.  
Maybe see Sunset Shimmer, or one or two of the Crystal Prep girls cameo? All up to you.

Thank you all for following the story and helping me with ideas! This was supposed to be the last scene but I can do some aftermath scenes like Dagi taking out her hair curlers, prying Aria and Sonata off the wall with a crowbar and the three of them performing at the concert.

Adagio has her hair in curlers so she can look suitably poofy for the mane event. (If it was a contest of hairstyles she’d easily win).  
Aria and Sonata will probably always blame eachother no matter what happens. Aria will most likely start the argument and it will escalate from there. The only force that will be able to stop that fight is Adagio herself.
 
Why it’s only the most popular Villainy magazine of all time! Adagio is proud to say that she’s never missed an issue.  
Also, Adagio tolerates her two backup singers, as sometimes (very rarely) they’re useful.
