@Midday Shine
The connection to the alternate world was severed, and the phenomenon relating the two worlds had stopped, so each world was free to do its own thing without influencing the other.

With all the people who mentioned that now that Sombra is good, going by the rules of the Mirror-verse now this world was getting an infusion of evil – was that the reasoning behind the recent ‘evil pool’ storyline?

Honestly I wouldn’t want to see her “redeemed” in the comics anyway since they don’t know how to do it right she wouldn’t retain any of her previous personality she would just be mirror Chrysalis even in looks and fuck that shit.

@soundtea
Honestly, Chrysalis the gleefully evil, life-draining monster queen is trillion times more interesting and fun than the generic, misunderstood “I only wanted a hug” woobie that most bronies want to pretend that she is.

Maybe because the “evil” in Celestia and Luna wasn’t destroyed, only moved? So maybe they didn’t become “good” so much as “no longer evil.” Meanwhile, the “good” part of that Sombra was destroyed.

Or some other nonsense, I don’t know. Much as I loved Reflections, there’s a LOT they didn’t explain about how that actually worked.

@gato
That could be the next big adventure arc. Celly and Luna go to the Dark Side and the Mane Six have to usurp power and reign over their new empire I mean save the two alicorns.

But in Order to keep the balance wouldn’t Celestia and Luna have to turn evil here (since they turned good on the mirror)? Right now there is too much good on this side while the other keeps the 2 sides.

Yeah this wall of text was mine. I forgot to login earlier.

Either way I’m writing a head canon that the comics are made in-universe within the actual show by Author Avatars of the writers who base, embellish, or make up historical or general events around the characters for fictional recreation. So any disparency is a result of them choosing to go the creative route and make up there own version of events which even the show characters are baffled by and explain the occasional exaggerations and other egregious parts found from time to time.

I can’t say I’m a huge fan of this outcome, but in all fairness it does line up with the lore they established back in reflections; An influx of good in one universe precipitates an influx of evil in the other, and vice versa.
Reflections ended with Good Sombra turning evil, so I suppose it was only a matter of time until Evil Sombra turned good to maintain the balance.

That is exactly what I thought in regards to balance. Yet I hoped that Sombra would be a hybrid Umbrum/Pony character. Still I will remark that this deals with the same problem as Megatron Origins when it was cut back from 6 to 4 issues.

It needs a lot more to deliver after everything we witnessed built up. Just what happened to the Crystal Ponies, every other antagonist not a changeling, and Shining Armor. Where were they afterwards and how did they take the situation. How did they manage to get away with Twilights help?

Did I missed a part or not when I read this? Will the Umbrum return to wreak vengeance on Sombra and Hope again? This either calls for a sequel that has Princess Amore’s return and possibly Sombra turned evil again by the Umbrum to relate with that destiny theme they have.

I still enjoy most of it for the lore they are building up. Yet having to rely on a majority of the show which can contradict the comics at any time isn’t reliable for them to adapt it for their own stories. Especially since Sombra had a heel face turn and is a pony from the events here. The show and comic are now officially different as G1 Transformers cartoon and G1 Marvel comics were back in the day. So why bother making direct canon between them any further. For instance I could see the show taking parts from and away from the Sombra Fiendship and none of the other issues to set up their own take.
