According to the original post and the “It’s a Pony Kind of Christmas” and “Jingle Bells” tags on this image, yes.

Much like last year, I planned on not bothering with a Christmas picture this time. Then I had to go and listen to “It’s a Pony Kind of Christmas”. After hearing this song (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zYOH0Ld2hdA) I just had to illustrate it. I briefly considered doing Pinkie Pie’s “Twelve Days of Christmas”, but then I remembered that I need sleep to function properly. And in case you’re wondering, yes, I did pretty much throw perspective at the wall to see what stuck.

As always this is for all of you wonderful people (over 2,000 by now) who seem to like my scribblings and splashings well enough to keep watching.

Hey, is this a reference to Rainbow’s rendition of Jingle Bells in the It’s a Pony Kind of Christmas album? It looks exactly like a scene described in the lyrics of that song.

I like how the artist made a contrast to last years Xmas pic. Last year it was Twilight and Spike with a night scape background. This year RD, AJ, Pinkie and Rarity with daytime. Wonder if we will see something with Flutters next year. Anyway…Merry Christmas!
