Look, i honestly am just comparing characters by one character trait because i can’t think of any ideas.

That is the most tenuous casting I think I’ve ever seen. The one point of Undertale -> MLP casting the majority of people agree on is that Dash is incredibly Undyne.
Celestia/Luna work as a couple with a history involving one of them making a huge mistake that the one who made it feels deeply guilty about, with Celestia being sufficiently motherly for Toriel to boot, yes.
Maybe celestia or nightmare moon would be a better comparison.
idk, there is only like what, 4 male characters that frequently appear in mlp and shining would likely be undyne because of the whole captain of the royal guard thing, discord is more similar to ghaster with the reality warping powers and whatnot, Spike is spike and then theres big mac, and i strictly believe in never trust the quiet ones.
What did Big Mac do that she would hate him and hold a grudge against him and he would hate himself for having done?
