This one wasn’t even up for 30 minutes and it amassed 13 downvotes.
 
And to those 13 downvoters I say…look at yourselves.
 
You came out in full force to downvote a parody of Sonic shipping. An OBVIOUS parody. It’s even stated outright in the source.
 
It’s not even that badly-drawn. Clean lines, good shading, cute style.
 
Yet the moment you said eyes on it, you decided it must be downvoted to hell and back.
 
Why? Because you think Sondash shipping is dumb? Then why did you downvote art mocking it?! As a joke? Jokes are supposed to be funny, and nobody’s laughing. Upset with the Sonic fanbase in general? Again, why downvote a parody of it? Upset with the quality of Sonic games? What does this art have to do with that?
 
Personally, I think the real reason is one I’ve been talking about already: your negative reaction to Sonic the Hedgehog has become a knee-jerk obsession. If it wasn’t, you could simply ignore a benign parody like this. But you couldn’t. You’re not being constructive. You’re not demanding quality. You’re definitely not being funny. You’re just hating for the sake of hating. And you’re just as obsessed with Sonic as the Sonic fans making OCs and fetish porn with the characters on DeviantArt…the difference is that they’re obsessing over the characters because they actually LIKE them. What’s your excuse?
