I sat in awe as I gazed at the image upon my browser… the visage of Raziel… the tormented Wraith captive of the Elder God… a man whose history and legacy, complex and bloodier than almost any other video game protagonist I had known… had by the unfathomable grace of an artist.. been rendered to appear as an adorable Pony. A unicorn no less.. or perhaps undead Alicorn to be precise.  
To think I would ever see an image of the noble yet tormented hero displayed in such a way filled me with mixed emotions. On one hand.. to know the man is still revered and known, and to see the talent of an artist fills my heart and being with joy… on the other… seeing a being who literally consumes souls become an adorable equine felt wrong in a way.  
Nonetheless my feelings had no impact on the existence of the image.. and seeing the Tag had at least thirty more entries.. I ventured further into Derpibooru to see what further madness had been created…

I can not tell you how wonky it feels to have Raziel show up in front of me here… mostly because FimFlamFilosophy (the Mentally Advanced Series) has been doing a let’s play of Soul Reaver 2 and Defiance using his Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie voices.
 
He’s kind of corrupted my entire view of the series by making Kain an impetuous child who threatens to give wet willies to Mobius if he doesn’t tell Kain what Kain wants to know.

Pony Raziel. Now we just need a pony Kain and I can die happy. Pony Vorador and pony Moebius wouldn’t go amiss, either.
