Funny that’s exactly what I say about ships romance always brings shows down just look what happened to digimon.
But like I said if it wasn’t focused on too much just kinda mentioned that they were a couple I wouldn’t be terribly upset but yeah best to leave romance out entirely.
To be honest, I don’t think any of the Mane Six should have any romances and for them to leave that stuff to the fandom.
I think he’s cute.
I’ll be honest I never cared about the romantic sub plot if they wanted to have Twi actually date Flash in either universe I wouldn’t mind it so long as the show didn’t make that the focus (relationship oriented shows are terrible).
I think one reason it might be different from the background ponies like Lyra is because people associate him with a shallow, forced, and unnecessary high school romance sub-plot. That’s probably why I don’t really like him. I don’t dislike him because of “waifu” or something stupid like that. It’s just bad from a meta writing perspective.
Pony Flash is better since he is a blank slate like the background ponies. I still don’t really like him because of of his his character design though. I just really don’t like his hair, human or pony.
I don’t love his character if that’s what you are asking I just think he’s alright he’s clumsy and tries to be helpful kinda like Derpy he is a little too perfect but that’s mostly because he’s not developed like at all.
I just think it’s dumb people can legit hate him and try to use the excuse it’s because he has so little screen time (even though we know it’s because waifu) he’s as developed as the background characters used to be like Lyra who sat funny and Bon Bon who said “I didn’t put those in my bag” yet people loved them so it makes no sense really.
I’m more drawn to pony Flash though he’s a clean slate to work with I don’t care much about EQG at all.
Just out of curiosity, what do you find appealing about Flash anyway? I don’t hate him or anything, just find him bland without anything interesting about him. He’s a pretty forgettable one note character that was made for the sake of a love interest in a High School setting IMO.

Anyway unless you do something like what he was doing I’m not going to get upset if someone doesn’t like Flash I’m not that petty.

I didn’t read any comments on the picture you linked. I thought that you were just upset at the picture. That guy that said that to you is a total douche canoe though.

What? I just said I think the images should be flipped around and his response was “You should leave this fandom” and “Twilight is real and he stole her from me” it had nothing to do with not liking a character he was just attacking people for no reason.
