Why is it so bad that there are so many accidents in the episode? The show has always pulled things out of nowhere for the sake of comedy and entertainment, and this is an episode about superheroes (Nevermind that the third act centers around the lack of accidents).
 
Feels like people just take it personal to defend Rainbow Dash and antagonize the others; I find this episode to be misunderstood and underrated.
 
Contrast it, for example, with “Lesson Zero” and “Best Night Ever”, where Twilight and Fluttershy are suddendly insane and all we can do is go with it. In “TMMDW”, however, Rainbow Dash gradually goes from saving ponies and getting praise, to saving ponies TO get praise, to just care about the praise, to compete with Mare Do Well instead of stoping to think about the ponies in danger, to finally lose it and act like a stupid, until she snaps out of it and returns to her normal self in the end; it’s actually developed and we see things from her point of view to understand her perspective.

yeah her episode are crap (well except for Heart’s warming eve)  
Makes me wonder if there’s ever gonna be some kind of continuation or refference coz there’s a fucking flame war any time MDW is talked about. I hate this kind of shit. It’s been a long time this episode aired but unless something is done there will always be hate. God dammit !
