i realize im 6 months late to answering this but…
 
Basically, this is the end of a long sequence where Dash had to go undercover within the Shadowbolts to help rescue a fellow Wonderbolt (she had a color changing spell too to make her look like daring do instead of rainbow). AFter the rescue blah blah blah theres a fight and she’s reunited with Soarin who was missing at the same time, Silver lining is beat up because he protected Dash, etc. etc.
 
And lightning Dust is wearing an altered Shadowbolt suit with no mask, red goggles and a bandana because she’s part of a group that defected from the Shadowbolts.
 
It’s a long story (figuratively and literally) But that’s the gist of it.

I have only one question. What’s Rainbow Dash doing wearing a Shadowbolt flight suit?
