in all seriousness though, chromatic aberration is known to cause eye strain, headaches and (in media like games and movies) motion sickness in some people (and judging by the amount of complaints Dying Light got, it’s a lot) due to the distortion and blurring it causes.

Why the excessive overuse of chromatic aberration? The artist almost ALWAYS uses it, and not in a way that benefits the overall image.
 
When your art can potentially hurt the eyes of the viewer, something is wrong.
