To be fair it wouldn’t have been hard for someone with a connection to the government/royalty to find someone who lived in their demesne. One of the reasons people dislike Starlight Glimmer’s reason for turning into a murderous psychopath was because her reasons were insufficient, she should have been able to find Sunburst herself.

They sure as heck didn’t have to search for Sunburst very hard. Of course this was written up before Season 6 started airing. That’s the whole point to making this bingo exciting.

@ArrJaySketch: I’m doubting the existence of such an episode would happen. And for the same reason why the comics’ Rarity spotlight has her helping out a group of hippies who are about to lose their property instead of “Rarity takes Manehattan” in comic form.

Journal of the Two Sisters isn’t an episode, though. I think I’d love more backstory featuring the Royal Sisters, or a slice of life or adventure story of the sisters as foals. There are some fans who just want to see the Royal Sisters officially animated as foals.

I would like it. But the only way I see that happening so far is either time paradoxes involving another timeline, or a way that rustles the jimmies of the Bronies’ vocal minority that, at least, thinks that the comics are “non-canonical.”

Well, some have associated rainbows with homosexuality over the years, like with the gay pride movement, and such. (Which used to use it as their symbol.) The rainbow mane, and Dashie’s tomboy nature is why she tried to claim she was a “homophobic stereotype.”
 
She also tried to accuse the show of sexism, smart-shaming, (apparently, she only saw the first episode, and assumed Twilight gave up on her studies, this was back when the show first came out) and some other things.
 
Though, luckily Lauren Faust replied back with an epic rebuttal shooting down her claims. (Even pointing out it’s not fair to judge all tomboys, and Dasie’s orientation is never hinted at in the show.) Ironically, this article, and Faust’s response actually increased the show’s popularity.

That Magazine person you mentioned. That someone would associate Rainbows with Homosexuals and not remember Rainbows are a heavenly phenomenon is pretty pathetic. Almost psychopathic.

Probably, ‘cause many bronies seem fixated on those kinda yuri ‘ships. (To each their own, but some get too obsessed with ‘em, or want to make every character a lesbian.) Lyra & Bonbon in particular are getting quite Flanderized by that popular pairing to the point where it’s getting rare to see them portrayed platonically by fans, or even see them as individual separate characters now. I kinda miss them having their own separate personalities. (I think I prefer platonic pairings over romantic ones personally, no offense. Shipping is fine, but as I said it’s getting overdone.) Even Octavia & DJ are starting to get that way in fanon.
 
Though, as the other guy said it probably meant pairings in general, even hetro’ ones. (Though, it’s debatable if “LyraBon” is canon now, seeing how they leave their relationship a bit “ambiguous.” Probably a good idea, as it would please both fans who prefer shipping, or having them platonic.)
 
I suppose you have a point MLP would get odd if they started bringing IRL politics, or social issues into it. Plus it was bad enough that Mrs. Magazine lady tried to claim Rainbow Dash was a lesbian stereotype, and tried to use that to claim the show was “homophobic.” So regardless what stance they take on the subject, it’s a lose-lose situation.
