Given circumstance I would agree with Background Pony because A. That the only reason I hate he was nevergiven a character way introduce him as being a portental love interest for Twilight Sparkle is kinda weak. Here hopeing for Flash to develop in the next EG episode.
I’m not gonna argue because >opinions. You may hold your own view point.
But I personally think that it would be a huge waste to use good characters as you said “lessening them” to boost popularity of a mediocre character such as his. Flash should either progress and grow as a character on his own, without anyone’s help, or just perish, in any case that would be more plausible than remaining in his current state.
Just because you THINK using an established character to progress Flash’s own doesn’t mean anything you’re acting like it’s your way or nothing and it’s not you may think it’s bad but others may think it’s fine and honestly given how DHX usually handles characters in the show I think it would work quite well.
You don’t need to raise a stink everytime someone has an idea about Flash like his very existence is offensive or something.
Don’t get triggered, son, I only said that it would be incredibly stupid to waste another good character for the sake of Flash’s development, it really not worth the effort. They already used Twilight, didn’t go so well.

Yeah Scoots parents are pretty well non existent making any of the established characters her parents would lessen their character quite a bit.

If they decide to reveal his family as brand new characters, then fine I have no objections in this case, but boosting his development using popular and developed characters that was there from the beginning, that’s where I draw the line. Like Twilight isn’t already enough, slamming another good character with him would be a huge waste and not really worth it.
I think they can use it to build him a better picture.
Mayhaps not with Scoots specifically, as any family she has should have shown their faces long before now if they don’t have that great an excuse.
Nah, not really. Putting flash in his current state of development in a relation with already good established characters thus undermining them would be stupidest mistake.
Let it just remain in headcanon section.
