You should be able hold or double tap your finger on an image when viewing them in your gallery and an edit option should come up, in the edit options you may want to try out all the options you have available but it will most likely look like a picture or camera with a curved arrow around it.
 
If you can’t find that option try taking the picture like you usually do but before you take the picture hold it in portrait mode.  
 
If you are in portrait mode the buttons on screen should flip or move.
 
 
If you can’t do that and if it runs android download Photoshop Express and rotate it (free).
