It’s kind of interesting (I don’t think Ironic is the word) considering that way earlier in the comic, Firefly was not only very attentive of Derpy, but she also couldn’t stand the way Rainbow Dash talked down to her. It’s all too clear just how doomed this relationship is.

A lot of people still like it. Most of the complaints are petty. With a few legit critiques sprinkled here and there.

Looks like this comic seems to have gone downhill sadly based on the comments…

I find myself disliking it because of firefly and dash’s relationship, but for a different reason. According to the artist this is the final chapter. So the whole comic has apparently built up to this. It has taken years. And now it’s going to end. Most likely on a bad note for the pair. But still, it’s ending before it even had a chance to begin. So, I’m supposed to feel bad for Dash and Fly, but really I feel nothing, and I almost get a chuckle out of how quick this couple is probably going to end.
 
Also Billy’s conversation with Gilda about Rainbow Dash felt forced. Billy was an active antagonist. Dash never seemed to be that bad. It’s like the artist left some important plot elements out, but I don’t remember Rainbow Dash doing anything bad to Billy or Gilda. So where did that page of dialogue even come from?

This couple that has only kissed and made bed room eyes at each other is foreshadowed to break up? But they’ve been in lesbians with each other for like a week! Wow, I legit feel so totally invested in their relationship, I sure hope nothing bad happens…
 
Anyway, back to Derpy who is writhing alone in her own personal hell. Not getting a chance to talk to Firefly is kind of her own fault, she should have been more forward. But at the same time I can’t blame her, she surely has no clue of how to break this to her friends.

That would be a valid point, if Derpy had actually said anything. To Firefly and Dash whatever Derpy wants to talk about doesn’t sound too serious, because Derpy has made sure it doesn’t. You really can’t blame them for it.
