They will only be here one more day, though, that is one more day that other artists pieces missed out on a highlight spot.  
There is a good chance it will happen again too as it has happend plenty of other times too, not just with fearingfun.
 
People see an image they like and upvote it along with it’s variants giving them all pretty much the same score (murder, diaper and shit being an exception to variants getting upvotes) and if the same score is high enough it clutters the 3 day top porning.

It depends on score, but in instances like this I think maybe they should just choose the higher scoring of any given pic with an alt.
