Something a little different, Princess Luna as the Night Lord’s Primarch Konrad Curze from Warhammer 40k.
 
I’ve been sitting on this piece for about 2 years now, I kept putting it off only doing little bits at a time.

The sketch underneath is pretty bad by my current standard. Normally I would have scuppered the piece but since I had put so much into it so far; I decided to see it through no matter what.  
I know it looks all wonky and shitty but I am really happy with how it turned out even if the structure of the image is messy. I wanted to use this piece as a way to get better at painting digitally.
 
My original vision was of Luna sitting on a throne in power armour in a darkened room, that eventually became something like the command throne on board the Nightfall the flagship of the Night Lords.  
I do like how unintentionally the back of the throne looks like the moon. The armour was based heavily off the Forge World model of Konrad Curze.
 
Also with her facial expression I was going for a “deranged” look with loose strands of hair and the wild grinning expression. I was going to add to that with maybe red liquid spilling from the goblet on her armour or possibly dripping from her chin.
