That’s what Valikdu was doing. He was attacking other people for stating their own opinions. I was saying that his attacks were without merit, not “attacking him for disagreeing with me”.
You’re allowed to have opinions on artwork, but not attack other people for having their opinions either, which you seem to do often enough when people have opinions that differ from yours.
Be that as it may, people are entirely within their rights to say what they think about an artist’s works, and the “shut up and get back in your place” shutdown is without merit, as it’s focused on attacking the idea of discussing it than on the discussion itself.
Bringing up random words for the purpose of ridicule didn’t add to its merit, either.

For what its worth, I think the male you’ve drawn here is gorgeous.
But you know what they say, practice builds confidence. I’ll be good to see more from you, and you certainly won’t be lacking for support.

Relax, I’m just saying I’m surprised the artist seemed so uncomfortable with drawing a male, considering the stuff they usually do. Not telling anyone to do anything.
Oh boy, I feel like I need to clarify some things here.
The reasons I don’t feel somfortable with drawing males is NOT due to some “eww gay” thing, or other such discrimination. it’s mostly just that I have no confidence that I would do a good job at it. There are many artists that I think do a good job with depicting sexy males, but it’s just not my thing.
I hope that clears that up. :D

Whatever, you can’t force people to like things. He is almost the only one who draws them horse lingeries so well.
I agree. That person needs to get more comfortable/secure with sexuality. Not necessarily orientation, I don’t know their gender, but are male parts really so discomforting?
Perhaps. But with the kind of pieces they usually draw, and have drawn before, I’m surprised the view of a male’s rear end bothers them so much.
I hope its just a confidence issue rather than any kind of…discrimination

The reason we agreed on a front was mostly because a male rear view would include direct view of testicles. And the artist is not comfy drawing those.
Noticed that the male doesn’t have a rear view in this pic, and the only other ‘male’ pic he drew is a trap.
Kind of a shame males won’t be appearing outside comissions, in this style any gender would look sexy

The artist did not seem to eager when I commissioned it. He was happy with how it turned out but I’m not sure if he would go for it without commission.
