I didn’t see or find anything about Season 2 is her last appearance or not, even if it is there’s always comic and books tie-ins. So not really a loss for me, I’m just glad she’s safe well for awhile at least.

I remember talking with a friend who suggested that the writers were in sort of a lose/lose situation with how to handle this. Either they let her escape and live, and the fandom riots. Or they kill her, and the fandom riots.
 
So, they went with something a bit more vague so the fandom can draw their own conclusions.
 
I’d take this with a grain of salt though as it was just my friend spit balling, but it wouldn’t surprise me if this was the case.

Yeah so WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED at the end? is Ahsoka actually dead? Is she actually walking into the Sith Temple at the end or is that just a weird metaphor? If she is, why the hell is she? Really thrilling finale but kind of annoying to have her left in an ambiguous situation AGAIN.
 
But MAN that part where Vader’s mask is damaged and they mix James Earl Jones voice with Matt Lanters, that hit hard.

Man that Rebels season finale damn it was so god damn good! can’t wait for season 3.
