Emerald goes over to the Captain, and when he sees a lull in the conversation he says hello, and comments how he thought it was nice of him to go and give some of the sailors supplies.
 
“Well, it was in my best interest to do so.”
 
Emerald gives him a questioning look, and the Captain continues,
 
“The thing about being a pirate is that you gain a reputation pretty quickly for the way you work. If you are cutthroat and leave no survivors than ships are going to go at you full force because they think there life is on the line. On the other hand if you treat your opponents nicely they might just give up since they know you’ll show them mercy.”
 
Emerald nods at this. He never really thought about it that way before.
 
Emerald than gives the Captain a wave and says he is going to go talk to Bo.
 
Emerald walks over to where Bo and Quicksilver are sitting, and sees them talking animatedly. Well Bo is, Quicksilver is watching him quite intently.
