If this came out from the mouth of the creator, then must be true. Now I wonder if, in the FiM universe is possible to change your gender with magic. It have repercussions in the society or in the mind of the individuals? And, if it’s possible to change the gender, you can change your species too? Oh, well, about this last one point, in the episode of the Breezies, it is apparently possible.

You might be a bit misinformed about the term Social Justice Warrior. Social Justice dates back to at least the 1800s, and the term Social Justice Warrior dates to the 90s. It was created by and used by people who promoted socially progressive views. It didn’t become a slur or disparaging term until the 2010s, when bigots started using the term with a sneer in their voice as a catch-all for “person with social views I don’t like”, equating the entire movement with a small handful of slightly ridiculous people on the internet and pretending that the worst of a movement represents the whole thing. 2014’s Gamergate BS pushed the term over the edge from being primarily a positive term into being entirely negative.

But yeah, SJW’s currently a disparaging term, but it wasn’t “made up by twats”. It was just coopted by them.

Wow, some of these comments. Yikes. Can the brony fandom just… stop being transphobic? For a minute? JFC. You’d think with a show that’s entire, central theme is accepting people who are different and who you may not understand personally, the fans of said show wouldn’t have latced so firmly onto such bigoted beliefs and right-wing talking points, but here we are.

FYI - SJWs aren’t a real thing. At all. It’s a disparaging term meant to discredit people, made up by twats who don’t like anything that doesn’t confirm to some “norm” that only exists in their heads. Using such a term instantly invalidates anything you have to say.

(And to the people complaining about “BRIGING POKITICS INTO MUH PONIES”, you’re the ones who brought politics into this in the first place, so shut up)

BP, stop trying to assert your Caramel headcanon. Headcanon doesn’t need assertion anyway, better write fanfic or something else more productive than this.

Cool. I haven’t met many trans people, but I figured they wouldn’t be happy with crazy people running around claiming to represent their interests.
In Toronto where I live, I heard that there was some sort of headache in the trans community where a group of people claiming to represent the community were holding protests and making an ugly scene. Yelling at people walking by, and ignoring actual trans people who told them to stop.

It really irks me when people write stories with something that comes out of nowhere. Like writing a book series, then suddenly claiming that a character was gay the whole time when it was never set up in the book. It feels so tacked on, as though they were checking off a box on a list. In a story, you have to keep things simple so that the reader can follow what’s going on. You don’t introduce superfluous info.

We never hear Vinyl Scratch speak. What if she identifies as a stallion (or he identifies as a mare)?

Just a completely random thought - don’t take it too seriously.
