Yeah, it does feel like a while since we last saw Babs. I know it’s not since she got her cutie mark.
 
In fact, I think her last issue was her FF with Rarity wasn’t it? (which heavily foreshadowed said cutie mark)

Probably after S2. Sense they actually used a li’l boy to voice him, they had to get a new one, because the old one’s voice changed, after a few years.  
It’s harder for an aging boy to sound young then a girl, (like the CMC’s voices) which is why they usually use female voice actresses for young boys in animation.

They replaced Pipsqueak? In Twilight Time or Crusaders of the Lost Mark? Not that it matters since he only had one speaking role beforehand, which is probably how The Simpsons got away with replacing Nelson’s father in Season 16 (Last seen in Season 4, where he was voiced by Phil Hartman), but any more and you could curse that particular episode… Which is probably why they retire characters altogether if their VA dies (Last cameo of a Phil Hartman character on The Simpsons was episode 250, though I could be wrong)

Last dialogue in FF#13, last seen in the apple invasion arc, in a cameo she shouldn’t have been in. No appearance or mention since then AFAIK (or in between)

That was a good comic.

Babs gets plenty of panel time in the comics at least (though I’m always up for seeing more of her).

Shame, I liked Babs. Apparently, they can’t get Twist’s voice back either, hence why she no longer speaks.  
Pipsqueak has been the only character voice who got replaced.

I know that. But writers and animators can still use her as reference so it’s not that of a big deal.

Babs isn’t coming back though. The Facebook post was just to confirm her cutie mark for people who didn’t believe it, and so that aeridiccore would add it to her source model.
