V Thanks for the tip. I’ll try that. I’m getting a lot better at adjusting the wire speed and amperage so my welds are a lot stronger than before.

V Without gas weld spot oxidizes. You should get a tank of carbon dioxide.

V I currently only have a small copper wire welder but no gas. I can only weld steel with it at the moment.
 
…I’m no professional but at least what I weld holds together…most of the time… :-)

I love welding. There’s something about melting metal and all of those flowing electrons. The smell of melting flux. That moment when your electrode comes close enough to the point of contact between two pieces of metal to cause that retina-melting spark that causes two individual parts to become one…
