Dumbasses

Now, now, if I was suggesting it be like GoT, I’d be suggesting no one be remotely likable, have there be lots of political scheming, and sex everywhere. Oh, and everyone dies in uniquely cruel and bizarre ways.
“Friendship Is Magic” not “Games of Thrones”
I do try my best. I’ve had several years to hone my craft. Besides, on the Internet, you gotta make sarcasm as obvious as humanly possible. And even then, it’s like with satire–you’ll almost always have dummies who think you’re being 110% legit, bro, when you say the animation in Dingo Pictures’ Peter Pan belongs in the same flipping universe as Milt Kahl, Ollie Johnson, Marc Davis, Les Clark, Ward Kimball, Eric Larson, John Lounsbery, Wolfgang Reitherman and Frank Thomas.
One way, Richard Williams! Eat your heart out, Tomm Moore! Dingo Pictures takes your Thief and the Cobbler and your Secret of Kells and one-ups you all with WABUU THE BOUNCING RACOON. I’d like to see your war machine sequence top that majesty, Dick!
I’d say comparing them to the genius of the “Nine Old Men” team is a stretch, but only if I didn’t know any better. lol
With that said, bravo on the sarcasm! ^^
Everything looked unnerving in that, thanks to the borderline Nine Old Men-level animation they did for the characters. Animation that Walt Disney witnesses from on high, and weeps. Tears of joy and envy that he couldn’t even come close to that level of quality, OBVIOUSLY.
And of course Peter was all kinds of creepy!
It’s that damn narrator doing the voice for EVERYONE that really does it, alongside that crummy beyond all belief moral tacked on at the end. And, of course, there’s more of that quality Dingo Pictures dialogue we’ve all come to know and loathe. :)
“I demand that you immediately release Tiger Lilly! Otherwise…………………wasn’t I right?”
OSCAR MATERIAL
I’ve seen that one, and oh man… I third that notion!
Caddicarus also did a crossover with I Hate Everything that covered that particular Dingo Pictures title in detail, and they reach the conclusion that even for Dingo Pictures’ lower than low standards, it’s possibly the worst of the lot. I’m inclined to agree that it’s certainly up there.
I don’t think PBG has done a video on them, but SpaceHamster talked about them briefly in his video on Peter Pan games.
COMMENT THREAD INTERRUPTING PHANTOM RIDER!
…
I agree, by the way. This show’s obsession with redeeming every slightly antagonistic thing in sight is getting a TAD frustrating.
The main problem with the Dingo Pictures (beside the obvious lack of originality and abysmal/animation/artwork/voice acting) is the anemic pacing. It’s really easy to get bored by some of their movies if you’re not enetertained by that “so bad it’s good” feel
Best to just see the videos on YouTube or elsewhere on the net. Of course Dingo Pictures’ content does include games, they’re not worth a rat’s unless a funnyman like Phelus or Peanut Butter Gamer is covering it.
Come to think of it, I don’t think PBG has made videos about these ‘games’! That would be amusing to see
Yes, that’s the way it waaaaaasssssss-uuuh.
Yeah, after seeing Phelous’ ongoing series of videos cutting these pieces of garbage down, I’m very tempted to check them out. Yknow, just so long as it doesn’t cost me a cent to do so. I mean, I’m a glutton for punishment, but I’m not a sap. :)
Yeah, that was the jo–
More like “Dingo”!
