the sad thing is, flash probably has a higher chance of getting a book than the others; Flash has hasbro’s full backing and push behind him, while the other 5 are more or less just being used as cardboard cutouts for the series.

Now that Sunset Shimmer and Twilight Sparkle had a book, I think Flash Sentry should get a book next. They’ll probably bring up his past relationship with Sunset Shimmer and his current crush on Twilight Sparkle at least once and that’s it. It will probably be more based on his love for music.

I’m really hoping that this happens. The Shadowbolt designs in Friendship Games made the old Mane 6 designs from the first film look a little lame and clunky by comparison. They deserve a revamp, like Sunset received. Getting rid of the knee-high boots would be nice start.

I still find it hilarious how they point out “Flash only likes you because you look like the other twilight” and then try and say “No, He really likes YOU, but we’re not going to give any proof to that”

Really disliked that; I know the shadowbolts had very little personality as it was, but they still had definite mannerisms for Sugar coat and Sour sweet.
 
Sour sweet honestly should have been the leader of the group given how she acted in the movie, and Sugar coat wasn’t mean just blunt, unlike the others.

Only Sunny Flare, Sugarcoat, and Sour Sweet appears in the book, and they keep giving SciTwi bad friendship adviced based on their strained relationship with one another, where they keep thinking that they are friends just because they stick together, even if they keep trying to one up another

Has anyone read the book? If so how was it as I’m not living in the states at the time? I heard that some of the shadowbolts got more character and the dazzlings were mentioned. Could anyone tell me how this occurred in the book?

Not terrible, but I liked the bun better than a pony tail.  
Also, wearing a belt over her sweater-vest looks odd.  
And she’s kind of overdoing it with her cutie mark; it’s on her hair tie, skirt and her shoe buckles.
