Ah, but by committing an evil unto the loved one of an evil person, the most horrific act imaginable, it is an act done to an evil person and is thus ok. Vatican approved!
@TheAbridgenator
I mean, evil unto evil refers to doing bad things to bad people. But this is doing bad things to good people. That’s evil unto good, and I’m pretty sure that’s what villains do. Just saying.

Oh, I agree, Starlight needed a good punishment, but that’s the best part, making Starlight watch Sunburst die in this particular fashion, or generally, would be a much greater punishment than any shown in the show’s verse thus far! >:)

>If he hadn’t gotten his Cutie Mark in such a showboating manner
He was a child experiencing one of the most important moments of his life.
>asked if the obviously talented Starlight could come with
You need a cutie mark to go to Celestia’s school.
>if he had just written Starlight a letter now and then
I’ll give you that one.
While he may be guilty of these relatively minor things, I wouldn’t blame him for almost destroying Equestria. I’d blame the pony who almost destroyed Equestria. The one who is now a main character and completely reformed.

If he hadn’t gotten his Cutie Mark in such a showboating manner, asked if the obviously talented Starlight could come with, or hell, if he had just written Starlight a letter now and then, she wouldn’t have gone insane and tried to pull a Flowey on all the timelines.
He’s just as culpable as Starlight…and now completely vulnerable. Smoke if you’ve got ’em. >:)

Maaaaaaaybe? ;3
I’m pretty sure that’s not what that phrase means.
Evil unto Evil, baby! Kira/Ryuk 2016!
I dunno. It seems like murdering an innocent to punish a villain is a bit counterproductive. It kinda makes you the villain.
