They should really release the rights to a lot of different companies at once, really. Something for everyone, like how Mario has been doing. One game has ponified sports, one is an adventure game, one is a platformer, one an action-y run&jump (3D world runner/canabalt style instead of normal platformer), then release them aboooout…2 months away from each other. That will be far enough they don’t whack each others’ initial sales but fast enough to retain high interest. Wow I just sounded like Filthy all of a sudden there.

great job managing to make your point with a bunch of companies who have been outright MURDERING their flagship enterprises left and right. Red Faction? That ring a bell? Rabbids? You may as well hoof it off to EA, at least they can be bribed to not screw things up.

There’s exceptions but I’m not getting my hopes up for anything that isn’t smurf village with ponies;

Yeah Gameloft usually copies better games for it’s own mobile releases.

Well if it’s like Sim City but with ponyville that’d be kinda cool.

I’m actually not too all excited either. Especially considering that, if I’m not mistaken, Gameloft isn’t exactly known for consistency in quality. Sure I would like a My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic video game, but I would prefer it if a game company like UbiSoft, THQ, or Atari took the helm. Not Gameloft.
 
On an added note, I don’t think a Sim City rip-off would have been anyone’s guess or desires for an MLP: FiM video game.
