I haven’t finished Project Horizons but I think this was something that happened near the very end.
your current filter.Funny when you think about it Somber basically made FO:E’s version of Fallout 4. Stunning atmosphere and setup, but once you actually get to the big twist the entire story and plot just unleashes a torrent of literary diarrhea.
Scotch Tape was one of the best characters in BJ’s gang, so it would be interesting to see a take on her being the protag… but I’m still waiting for someone to make an audiobook of it, I think.

Look for “Homelands” on Fimfiction. It’s about Scotch Tape’s adventures in Zebra lands. Songs about tradition, public intercourses and global domination plots included.
Despite what BP said, it’s pretty much alive. I mean, new chapters are being released from time to time.
Is it good? Well, that’s what you’ll have to figure out yourself I guess. I, for one, enjoy it, although not as much as PH.

When loyalists were saying Somber was shitting on the Original, that what we meant.
I have to admit. I may write some pretty silly grimderp myself, on occasion, but y’know what? Never in my wildest dreams would I ever pull something as brazen as this. After defending Somber through countless horrible plotting decisions, even I couldn’t come up with any way to rationalize that epilogue. If you were to contract Norovirus, spend hours spewing from both ends, and then arrange the chunky shit-vomit mixture into letters through a haze of tears, you’d still come up with something more coherent and more respectful to the characters than that ending.
After Somber killed the shit out of literally every other love interest that Blackjack ever had, she ended up with Littlepip. Fuck’s sake. Not only did he shit on the canonical LP/Homage pairing with the force of a broken sewer line, but he also shit all over Blackjack, too. She wasted her whole life, lost all her friends and suffered through hell, just to attain the esteemed title of “Littlepip’s Fuck-buddy”. Wow. Fucking bravo.
You know, up until Blackjack teamed up with Sanguine temporarily and then started on her long and angsty road to Hoofington’s Core and her showdown with the Eater, she’d actually practically eclipsed Littlepip in terms of characterization. She was a funny, tragic, relatable, interesting and flawed character, with a bunch of damaged people to keep her company. Her struggle actually seemed to mean something. And then, it all built up to this. She got cyberized to hell and back. Her friends all died. Hell, she saved the world from destruction, and then died, and then her soul found its way into a psychically-linked clone body and she was reborn. As Littlepip’s immortal fuck-buddy. All of that shit she went through was just so she could be qualified to be Littlepip’s fuck-buddy. That was the punch line we got. After all these years.
Way to go. Way to fucking go.
Yep, and it’s pretty dead as it did a lot of noise by the beginning, but now it’s silent like a lifeless corpse, thrown among other fics of the sub-fandom and almost forgotten. Even PH fans are divided about it.
Looks like PH was Somber’s “shining” moment, but as some dude said:

How Is this a bloddy spoiler for something that won´t happen , I am on chapter 63 and trust me THIS WONT HAPPEN AT ALL (at least there is no sign of Blackjack getting unroboalicorn , LittlePip getting out of SPP and two of them with Rampage getting on moon for NO REASON AT ALL
