Emerald explains who Pipadeaxkor is and what she does.
 
“So wait, she’ll tell you something about the amulet if you get her out of here?”
 
Emerald nods, and Ruby says, “Well, get her out of here then?”
 
“Yeah! I’m liking this chick!” The book says from the floor.”
 
Ruby asks Pip if she wants to go out on an adventure, and talks up their exploits a bit.
 
“Anything is better than here! You wouldn’t believe how boring a bookcase is!” Pip says happily.
 
Emerald pulls Ruby out of earshot of the book and explains who and what the demon is, but Ruby waves her hoof dismissively and whispers,
 
“So we just ‘appropriate’ the book, learn what you want once we get back out of the forest, and then give it to Joyride. She’ll probably be able to get it back to the undead dude. I don’t see the problem as long as we don’t actually let her out of the book.”
