Except, where does an Earth Ponies strength come from? It’s specifically called in canon ‘Earth Pony magic’. So then it WOULD make sense that enough physical power would be able to overpower unicorn, or even alicorn magic.

I’m not sure Luna’s telekinesis is that overpowered either. The ‘physical god’ thing got disproved eons ago, and Luna’s powers have always specialized around mind spells, dream walking and illusions.

I’m completely fine; how about your reading comprehension? If it were just breaking the spell and Luna not being able to do it, that is one thing. But even if the “side effect” of AJ being “stronger” shouldn’t explain magic not working on her in general.
