I got pecked by an emu once.
The very idea of allowing oneself to be menaced by a goddamn edible bird is more foreign to me than Canada.
I believe you. Not all, but some ducks (especially Canadian Geese, a.k.a. Canada Ducks) are absolutely vicious without provocation. Those Canucks will hiss, chase you around, and snap at you, no joke!
