From the recent comments list I can see what you did wrong. When you use the exclamation points you need to put the full URL of the image and nothing else.
Also Derpibooru pictures do not work. Why? Because mods.

As long as the stuff is still up online. Sites get shut down (RIP Ponibooru), videos het taken out…
I prefer hoaeding my favorite stuff and be sure I have them forever…. until my storage device go “boom” that is.
I wouldn’t keep the episodes on a flash drive or in a folder anywhere. I can just look it up and watch them whenever.
As long as I have an account here I can find stuff fairly easily.
That may be because you are just starting. Pretty soon, you’ll have to create a folder for all that fanwork and the episodes.
