It’s called Graves’ Disease and is commonly associated with hyperthyroidism. It can cause protrusion of the eyes, sensitivity to light, dryness and irritation of the eyes made worse by the protrusion, ophthalmopathy (reduction of eye lid, bulging, immune disorder causes swelling and irritation), and various psychological symptoms including anxiety.
As for the aging thing, Sia is 41.
My grandmother has that disease too. It’s called aging.
Sia has an autoimmune disease that causes facial deformities over time, she wears the wig because she’s self-conscious about it. So I don’t really think that’s “edgy”.
Unrelated but people seem to not really know about Sia, she was real big on the indie scene and only started getting on the pop charts these last few years. Her early stuff is really jazzy and nice, different than what she does now.
Either way, my point still stands - I’d rather see the OCs of thirteen year old deviantArt users in the movie than whatever the fuck this is supposed to be.
