Twilight as Gandalf is perfect, I can imagine her fighting the balrog (Durin’s Bane (Is it called Diamond’s Bane now?)) as they fall down by using her magic induced horn to slice his body.
 
Then when it’s all over, she comes back as Twilight The Alicorn…at the turn of the tide.
