And thus, the seed of magic were sown within the universe. For now, it is young, and undeveloped compared to what lies in the Magical Land of Equestria.
 
But Equestria resides in a small universe, no bigger than the solar system it’s sister world of Earth resides in. And because of this, it will die far sooner than it’s fully formed sister universe.
 
While the Equestrian universe has reach what many would dub middle age, the universe of Earth is young and primordial. What will one day be the Elder Races that would one day sheperd and protect the Younger Races that would one day crowd the galaxies for lay isolated from each other, alone on their homeworlds or their interstellar empires of empty worlds, lucky to find simple fish or bacteria.
 
One day, the race Sunset Shimmer so loves, the first to know magic, will be amongst the greatest of these soon to be Elders. Humanity, led initially by their two immortal Queens Daydream Shimmer and Nightsky Sparkle, would use their magic to unite their fellow scattered proto-Elders to share with them their Plan. For their magic had told them this: their universe was young, a Primordial thing, and they lived in a time of Mythology and Legend. And not just any kind or Mythology, for the universe was too young even for Heroes. No, this was and Age of Origins, Gods, and Titans. And the thing in, Humanity knew that they, the Origin point of Magic, were the Titans, and their fellow proto-Elders that they passed their knowledge onto the Gods. And that meant they all bore a great responsibility.
 
And so the Elders ordered the universe in ways best suited towards the propagation of life, magic spread throughout the cosmos, and the universe in which Equestria resided in grew old. Eventually, it died, and it’s sister universe continued on growing in magic to the point that it could no longer survive without it. Nothing that existed in Equestria could match the vast energies that had grown within their sister universe for countless Trillion years.
 
But now, the Elder races have begun to withdraw, Humanity has long been thought extinct, and Dark Things have began to screech through the stars. Nameless Things that Humger for the Arcane. But the magic They feast on Longer sates Them. They want something Purer. Something that can only be found on the Worlds of Magic’s Birth; Young Earth, and Equestria. And as Star Swirl the Bearded proved, Time is not immune to magic’s whims…
 
Two desperate messengers race ahead of the Unspeakable Things to warn both worlds of the impending threat. Now it’s up to the Avatars of Harmony of both worlds to save both worlds!

But yeah, this whole idea came from the realization that by introducing magic to Earth, Sunset Shimmer also introduced magic to to massive universe the human world likely resided in. A universe that would keep on chugging for hundreds of trillions of years. Hundred of trillions of years of magic. It really gets the imagination flowing!
