Eh, some people probably having it in their shipping folder regardless. This is the fandom where we ship “two ponies standing next to each other” on a regular basis! :P

Looking back, this kinda shows the “Derpibooru Sanik cycle.”  
People make nasty comments & downvote Sonic pics (regardless if good or bad) and then that encourages somebody to post more Sanik pics to piss them off.

First off, I never said everyone who uploads Sonic stuff is a troll. (Ironically, my DA page has Sonic fanart drawn by me.)  
Second, If you’re going to insult me, at least let me know who you are. Also, how am I a hypocrite? I rarely ever upload anything here.

In regards to the hate over the ‘shipping, I find that ironic, ‘cause honestly pics like Rainbow Dash X all of her best friends,” or “Applejack X one of her family members,” look no stranger then “SoniDash” pics to me. Oddly, even some crossover ships like Spiderman X Twilight pics get tons of upvotes. So I don’t get why some don’t see the double standards here. Still, nothing we can do about it, until the Sonic haters learn to filter Sonic pics, (though some >>974474 actually admitted they get pleasure from downvoting Sonic pics) or the trolls stop the “Sonic spam flood” sessions. Though, both have calmed a li’l bit.
 
To be fair, when the site first opened there was hardly any “Sonic drama,” and some pics, even a few rare new ons have been immune to the Derpibooru “Sonic negative score curse.”  
I remember SSSonic2 was one of the few popular Sonic fanartists here, but he doesn’t seem to draw much anymore.

It’s not really a new Sonic cycle. It’s the one I’ve been saying has been going on for ever on this site. Although, you mentioned the things this pic was missing to make the depiction absolutely perfect. Sucks that the good or great Sonic pics get downvoted because they’re shipping pics with Sonic. Pretty illogical.

A new “Sonic cycle?” Though, it’s missing the part where the trolls retaliate by posting mediocre or bad Sonic pics to piss off the Sonic-haters even more. Thus driving them to downvote or troll even the good Sonic pics.  
(Unless that’s what’s happening in the bottom panel, though ChibiJenHen who did one of those bottom images is actually one of the best Sonic artists here. She even got to do art professionally for the official Sonic comic.)

That wasn’t this episode, this was that old where Homer actually befriends Ned, and starts driving him crazy, and Ned has this dream as a result. (Based on actual event in Texas, where a crazy guy climbed a tower, and opened fire on people.)
