The thought came to me of how unsafe what AJ The Spirit did was, but I brushed it off because AJ The Spirit of Hearth’s Warming Past very specifically watched Starlight Glimmer Snowfall Frost as she threw the lasso to make sure it landed right, and very specifically checked as they left the building to make sure it stayed in the right spot. Also, presumably it was all just Snowfall’s dream, anyways, so if she got lynched by accident she’d just wake up or the dream would get weird or just defy physiology in some other way :q

Spirit turns around like, “Wait, what? Oh, crap!”  
Snowfall wakes up confused as heck. This makes her just hate the holiday even more and she goes back to the potion.  
The other two spirits are just looking at Hearth’s Warming Past with disapproval while they watch Snowfall ruin it all.
 
(Though there again, even within MLP this is just a story. HOLY CRAP. This was a dream, within a story, within MLP. So it’s a dream (Spirits) within fiction (story Twilight was reading Starlight) within fiction (MLP)).
